I'm taking a break from my rollercoaster to work on my project for finals: Creating a toy. I designed and printed a dice tower, but it didn't fit right, and it was way too small. To fix this I did a quick redesign. We'll see how it turns out tomorrow! Model:  https://www.tinkercad.com/things/kHonItVMqCj

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, I've had a lot of schoolwork on my plate. So far I've been working on cutting the pieces I need for both my rollercoaster car frame and the supports for the  tracks . The car frame may need more cross-reinforcement but I suppose I'll deal with that later.

I finished the top part of my track, after many iterations. From here I just need to create the support beams below it, and set up the car to go on it. See a model of the track  here .

Finally finished making a jig for my tracks. The prototype was...messy, to say the least, so now they should be more precise and straighter.

I found an old video of my proof of concept from a while ago. I've come pretty far since then.

Started working on the track today. Pretty much more of the same - but this time with plastic and wood. This section of track is just a prototype, so I can see if it works. I'm planning to make it modular, so it's easier to change. You can see a full model of the track  here .

Finally finished the first two wheel hubs done. 2 down, 2 to go!
