Building A Rollercoaster

Finally finished the first two wheel hubs done. 2 down, 2 to go!

More grinding, cutting and welding! Finished welding second wheel hub.

I spent most of today and this afternoon grinding down a super rusty piece of metal. I did a bit of a quick and messy job, but at least now it's clean and suitable for welding. I'll use this piece to make another wheel hub.

Today I finished my welding (which was really messy btw), so I'm going to start grinding down the edges and some bits of metal sticking out at odd angles. I'm also drilling holes for the 5/16 in. bolts. The car is really starting to come together. If you want to see a model of the whole thing, you can check it out on Tinkercad  here .

Finally past planning phase, purchased wheels and cut square tubing. Welding starting this week.
